Part 44: Turn 47 - 20th May 1944

Germany has abandoned Italy. I repeat Germany has abandoned Italy!



As well as a Division and two regiments who were to deep in my lines to make it out.








The rail lines lie in ruins.



No U-boats for you!






Before the Germans change their minds the Armour make a break for it.



After that it's all about moving men up onto the line.






Despite what the weather reports told me, the weather in the target area clears – I can't let this opportunity to keep the Germans on the back foot go amiss!

The air drops apparently can't go in until next turn, so they are set for deeper back.
